InterClub 40 Challenge
Series: InterClub 40 Challenge
Series Sponsor: d'Albora Marinas
The InterClub 40 Challenge is a three-day event held from 24-26 April 2026 based out of Regatta HQ at d’Albora Marina Nelson Bay running alongside the other Performance Racing divisions.
The InterClub 40 Challenge concept sees yachts racing in teams of three – representing their home club in a division made up of mostly Corinthian sailors racing in similar boats. With racing scored based on ORC (inc ORCclub) fixed ratings, skill of each team becomes more important than the boat.
There will be a combination of Passage, W/L, Inshore and Offshore Racing under Safety Cat 5.
Eligibility:
InterClub 40 boats shall meet the following criteria:
a) LOA 35-45ft
b) ORC All Purpose time correction factor (time on time) between 1.1670 – 1.2656
c) hold a valid ORC certificate (ORCi or ORCclub)
d) DLR between 4.0400 – 5.9800
e) Boats not meeting this criteria may be accepted at the discretion of the OA.
InterClub 40 boats shall nominate their team of three boats and nominate the club that their team represents. Team nominations will be required to be included with the entry.
