The Commodores Cup comprises five days of racing under PHS based out of Regatta HQ at d’Albora Marina Nelson Bay. With a wide variety of courses taking in the many inshore and offshore islands and bays, the series is best suited to cruiser-racer teams who enjoy longer and more scenic passage racing.
Dates for the Sail Port Stephens ‘Commodores Cup Cruising Series’ will be 13 – 18 April 2026. There is a Reserve Day included in the programme which may be used as a racing day if required.
- Open for all types of cruising and racing yachts
- Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker divisions
- Commodores Cup is raced under PHS (handicaps adjusted daily)
- One race per day
- Most courses have islands, fixed marks, and some laid buoys.
- Australian Sailing Category 5 safety regulations apply
Daily briefings from 9:00am at the Regatta Village (d’Albora Marina Nelson Bay) and also live streamed to the Sail Port Stephens facebook page.
